The service from Open Road Scotland was excellent. We had a flexible approach to picking up and dropping off the van and a thorough hand over.
A Motorhome holiday is great value for money. We stopped where we wanted to and moved on when we wanted to. Sometimes having a rigid itinerary is not a holiday so this gives you the flexibility to make it a real holiday.
The motorhome was very clean. It took us a bit of time to get the hang of how everything worked but after a day we felt we were experts having never rented this before. Tip to other customers: make sure you listen when you get the briefing. We were more focussed on the adventure.
We stayed at Morar on the silver sands and that was delightful and we would recommend this to other people.

Thanks again for friendly service. (No notices and warnings everywhere and cool approach to us being a bit late on return). The Motorhome was very good standard and was good value for money. Happy to recommend you to friends and family.

We had excellent service when we hired our Motorhome from Open Road Scotland. Our Motorhome holiday was good for our family because of the control it gave us. In a campervan you have 'control' over your food, when to eat, when to stop, when to start again, you always have a toilet handy and a place to just rest for a while. These are the things that are often very stressful when you're on holiday with kids. So I think that's why we had such a great holiday together. We would recommend the campsite at Morvich and a visit to the Highland Wildlife park in Cairngorm.

We're sorry we wont be able to take advantage of your great reduction for May weekend, but we will be in touch in the future and have been telling all our friends and such about the great time we had
PS. If anyone needs confirmation of how good your service was just tell them The Jacksons said it was First Class.

1. The service was very good and the time taken to explain the operation of the various elements of the motorhome was helpful and easy to understand;
2. The motorhome was brand new and in pristine condition with a good range of accessories (bedding, sleeping bags, folding chairs, barbecue and environmentally friendly household products);
3. We visited the north of Scotland and experienced both wild camping in lay-bys and on organised campsites;
4. We stayed at two campsites, Alvie & Dalraddy near Aviemore and Loch Lomond Woods at Balloch. The Alvie campsite was small and friendly and perfect for a quiet getaway, whilst Loch Lomond Woods was larger and more child orientated. Both were good campsites in their own rights;
5. The overall verdict from the 6 of us who stayed in the motorhome was that we enjoyed it and would definitely consider doing it again;
6. I would definitely recommend Open Road Scotland for motorhome hire and have already forwarded the website address to a few friends and colleagues in work.
7. Overall we had a most enjoyable experience on our weekend and we never felt like we were travelling and average of 120 miles each day. The secure indoor parking also gave us peace of mind about our own car back at the depot.
