A thousand feet up the on gateway to the Cairngorms and ideally placed for the ski resort, you might find yourself sharing the countryside with the herds of red deer that come down from the mountain looking for winter fodder. The campsite overlooks Loch Eil and the mountains and is located close to the spectacular Caledonian Canal. It's a great time of year to enjoy a wander along the towpath while eyeing up snowy Ben Nevis.
