Royal Highland Show
When: 25th- 28th June 2009   Where: Edinburgh
Scotland's premier farming and food event promises this year to be even bigger and better than before. Held over four days, with over 4,000 livestock on show and 1,000 stands selling everything from speciality foods to 4x4s. There's a wide range of entertainment and demonstrations in skills such as cookery and crafts, falconry and fashion.

World Fly Fishing Championship 2009
When: 5th – 12th June 2009   Where: Lerwick
The various venues for the Fips-Mouche World Fly Fishing Championships have been organised and include the Lake of Menteith, Loch Leven, Loch Awe and Carron valley. For the river sector beats on the River Tay have been organised. With such wonderful venues a fantastic time is anticipated for those taking part.
